The annual meeting of the Jockey Club took place to day; The report states that the club numbers 128 members. The total receipts for the past year were £4,564. The.amount paid away in stakes was £2,726. Spent in improvements £429. The revenue derived from the owners of horses was £1,453. The report recommended that for the future, in framing programmes, the owners be more liberally dealt with in the way of nominations, and that the qualification fee'for non-members be abolished. The receipts from the totalisator were £842.
