The West Coast Railway Commissioners, accompanied by Messrs C Y. O'Connor, Inspecting Engineer, and J. G. Gray, Secretary, arrived at 10 o'clock on Saturday night. They visited the diggings country on Sunday morning, proceeded to Hokitika in the afternoon, and will return here this evening. They take evidence on the proposed routes for the East and West Coast railway, and then proceed to Greymouth.
