After numerous breaks away, caused by Lyric, Kingask, and others, a start was effected, Siesta getting away first and Buzzard last; Siesta led for a quarter of a mile, when Billingsgate came . up ; the two ran neck and neck to the ~ back of the course ; Kalo then showed to the front at once and looked dangerous, when Fishwoman assumed the lead a quarter of a mile from home, and looked all over a winner. About a dozen lengths from home Stestajcarae up, and won by a r . head, Kalo being two length's behind , : Fishwoman. The totalisatoc dividend was £2 3s.
