Mr J. P. Quinn, who, with Messrs. Davitt and Healy, is undergoing six months' imprisonment in default of finding bail to be of good behaviour, received a telegram from Mr F. O'C. Robinson, Nottingham:—" I will stand your bail for £I,OO[D should' you decide on giring security." To this Mr Quinn replied:-— "Accept my best thanks for your kind ofter, but Igo to gaol. No, not if my imprisonment were for as many years as it is months, would I give bail."
