Criminal Sessions.
(Pee Pbbss Association.) f Auckland, Yesterday. , At the criminal sessions to-day Mahuki and 23 of the followers were found guilty of assaulting and wounding a native named Te Raere, one of Mr Hursthouse's party. Mahuki completely ignored the whole of the proceedings. : - : Hokitika; Yesterday. ' At the Supreme Court last night 'the jury in a case against Fergusson and Dun. lop for cattle stealing returned a yerdict of not guilty,- i; s; /. v: vy. ■;•?.. .•■.■••!;> ■ At half-past 12 this morning the charge against' James Wylde for embezzling £2 10s was heard ; the verdiot was not guilty. To-morrow the other ' charges against Wylde will be proceeded with.
