(To the Editor of the Evening Star). -■, Sib.—There are two cases of typhoid fever in Mack ay street, said to be caused by the offensive smells from a neighbour's piggeries. Other members of the family have also complained of sickening sensations and severe pains in the- head arisiug from the same cause. As the nuisance . has lasted for.a consideraMe'time, and v complaints and requests for its removal ■ have been unavailing, would you kindly state whethere is a law in force by which the owners of the pigs can be compelled ■ to remove them, aud oblige,—Yours, &c, A»TI PoBK.
