London, March 29. The Lady Disie's Story. In tbe House of Commons to-day Sir Wm. Vernon Harcourt, the Home Secretary, stated, in reply to a question, that inquiries had been made by the police regarding the attack on Lady Florence Dixie by two men disguised as women, but that the investigation had failed to confirm Lady Dixie's narrative. A Fenian, who arrived at Liverpool from Cork, was detected in the act of handling'a box of explosives, and was arrested by the police. March 30. Two persons have been arrested at Cork in connection wtth the landing of a case of explosives at Liverpool by a Fenian agent. The enthronement of Dr. Benson as Primate of all England took place at Canterbury Cathedral today. The ceremony was performed by the. Archbishop of York, assisted by other Prelates of the Established Church, and in the presence of an immense concourse of the clergy and persons of note.
Vienna, March 29. News to hand from Buda-Pesth states that Herr Gr. DeMaghatb, President of the Hungarian Court of Cassation, has been strangled at his residence by burglars.
