Betwbejt Saturday nijhb and Monday morning an entry was effected into the Star Office by breaking a window in the rear of the premises, and this morning Constable O.Brien succeeded in arresting two boys about the ages of 9 and 11 years, named McA'ister. H Bromby's lecture last night in Auckland on "The English in Ireland," Mr J. A. Tble, M.HR., presided. Among those present were Bishop Luck, Monsignore Fjnes. and a number of Catholic clergy. Bishop Luck, in moving a vote of thanks to the lecturer, said when he listened to vhafc hie countrymen had done in Ireland he felt, ashamed of his country, - of being an Englishman. The brave, patient, long-suffer-ina Irish would always haee his sympathies.
