NELSON.
This day. An inquest was held yesterday concerning the late fire at the Temperance boarding house, but nothing startling came out, and a verdict was returned to the effect that the fire was accidental and owing to a foul chimney. Hop picking is now nearly completed, he total acreage in Nelson district under hops is 587 acres.
