Wellington, Yesterday. The following events wpre competed for in addition to that, the result of which we published on Saturday. The weather throughout tbe day was all that could have been desired. Junior 4 oared In-eiggbb, £10; Wellington Star Club's Meteor, 1; Petone Club's Korokoro, 2. Won easily. The Canoe Racb was won by Mr W. , Fitzgerald. Ma»-of-Wae and Naval Brigade GlO Rack, £6; Petone IN avals, 1; Espiegle, 2; Espiegl*. 3. A crew from H.M.B. Diamond also pulled. Won by half a dozen lengths. Sxniob Foub-Oabkd Outbig<jkbs, £20; Wellington Star Club's Of-met, 1 ; Christchurch Union, 2; Foxton's Manawalu, 3 This race created great excitement, and was won by aboat a foot. The Canterbury men lost tb« race in the last sis strokes] Foxton was five lengths astern. MaW'-of-War and Naval Bbigade CullTEHs, £11.—Wellington Navals, 1; • •^oiE£? avals» 2- Two crews from the Es^fjjle and one from tbe Diamond competed Won by a length and a balf. Sctjlis. — Batkia (Wellington Star Club), 1; Pollen (Wellington Star Club;, 2; Braithwaite (Wanganui), 3. Batkin won this race by a fluke, as Brailbwaite and Pollen (who were some distance ahead of him) fouled, and before they managed to separate Batkin bad assumed • commanding lead, and won comfort* ably.
