AUCKLAND.
This cky. The Government have received a telegram from Parihaka stating that there is reason to believe that Te Whiti has seat specially to the natives in each part of the district which used to send visitors to
Parihaka, expressly commanding them not to attempt, to go to Parihaka, or .hold meetings on the 18tb. All preparations, however,"have been made to prevent any meeting should an attempt be made ; all violence will be avoided, but any attempt at: assembling will be quickly though firmly repressed. It is doubtful, however, whether there will be any occasion for interference; the probabilities seem the other way.
