A full cargo of frozen meat has been engaged for the Mataura. The sheep principally come from Waikato.

Mr Guthrie, a Glasgow shipowner, who represents the Glasgow Shipowners' Association, was present to-day at the Harbor Board meeting, and submitted proposals for improving the unloading and despatching of Home resseis at Auckland He stated that the accommodation in that respect was inferior to Wellington and Lyttelton, and recommended certain changes. The Board thanked him for his advice.
