Government Bonuses.

The following bonuses will be paid on articles produced in the colony : Silk, bonus of 50 per cent, on the value realised; for the first £100 worth of cocoons of silkworms or silkworms' eggs produced in the colon}', to be paid ou quantities of not less value than fifty pounds (£100) produced by any one person; manga* nesian and manganesian bronze, a bonus of £500 will be. given for the first £2500 worth of manganesian; and a similar bonus fora like amouut of manganesian bronze produced in the colony from New Zsaland ores, and sold at a fair prioe in a foreign market; marble, a bonus of £300 will be given for the first £1500 worth of New Zealand marble exported from the colony, and sold in a foreign market, at a fair price of not less than 9s per cubic foot; antimony, a bonus of £500 will be given for the first 250 tons of antimony regulus produced in the colony from New Zealand ores, and sold at a fair market price in a foreign market; wrought iron, bonus of £1000 will be given for tbe production in New Zealand, by direct process, of. 200 tons of "iron blooms" of marketable quality from ore, produced in New Zealand. Notice of intention to claim bonuses must be given to the Colonial Secretary not later. than the 31st December, 1883.
