KIND WOKDS.

Kind words! Like flakes of silont snow, That fall from heaven to earth below,. They soothe and purify, and bless. And banish all the heart's distress. Kind words! Ah, life would bo so fair. If fcliey wei'e spokeu eveiywhere! The world would then be full of joys F01; girls and women, men and boys. Kind words .' Along life's dusty way They bloom like flowers bright and gay j And, oh, their fragrance is so sweet To those who walk with weary feet! Kind words ! A few are sure to dry The tears of children when they cry, And veiy.often help to heal The deepest wounds the soul can feel. Kind words are not so hard to say, And scatter round us day by day ; And if we speak them now and then, They will come back to u«.again. ■ Kind words! Kind-words! I love them bo. They fall like flakes of silent suow, which tremble downward in the night, And leave dark fields at daybreak white.
