(from otje own correspondent.) Paeroa, This day. The two bridges across the Ohinemuri river, on the Tauranga road, are both destroyed. Most of the small bridges are washed away. The bridge at Owharoa was carried away, taking the Smile of Fortune pipe that crossed the river with It will take several thousand pounds to repair the damage done, and coach traffic will be stopped for some time.
