TIMARU.

This day. At 3 30 this morning an out-building belonging to Sebley, a contractor, in the rear of his private residence, was destroyed by fire. The brigade was unable to do more than prevent the fire spreading to the main building. The place contained tools, harness, plant, etc., and was insured for £150, which does not cover the loss by £200. The origin of it is unknown. The weather is wet. The Governor is expected about one' o'clock. The Premier is here receiving deputations. He leaves for Christchuroh by the express train.
