AUCKLAND.
Thin day.
Constable Marsh has been committed for trial at Tauranga for a rape on a ■servant girl, aged 18 years, named Hannah Savage, who was employed by Marsh's wife. It was alleged at the hearing of the case that the offence was committed while Mrs Marsh was absent at Te Puke.
The yacht Sabriua, belonging to Mr Stodart, was wrecked last night at Shelly Beach.
