The international cricket match was continued here to-day, when the Englishmen, with 9; wickets down for 263 tuns, resumed their first innings- Morley, the last man in, was bowled without scoring, and Steele-added nothing to his 153 of the previous day. The innings, therefore, closed for 263. The following is the bowliDg analysis: Midwinter 2 wickets for 52 runs; Palmer, 1 for 56; Spoffortb, 2 for 50; Bonnor, 3 for 52.

The Australians then went in for their first innings, and at the close of the day's play had lost 9 wickets for 249. The following are the scores :—Bannerman, c, 10; Bonner, c, 87; Murdoch, b, 0; Horan, c,3; Giffen, c, 27; Midwinter, b, 10; Blackham, b, 57; Palmer, o, 0; Spofforth, c, 2; Boyle, not out, 21; Evans, not out, 19 ; extras, 5; total, for 9 wickets, 249. Bonnor commenced badly, end had a narrow escape of being caught early in his innings; subsequently, however, he improved.
