The debate on' the Speech from the Throne was continued in the House of Commons to/day, the Radical and Tory leaders severely criticising the Egyptian policy of the Government; The Tories displayed obstructive tactios during the debate-, and prevented the introduction of the Affirmation Bill. The debate was adjourned until Monday.
The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 2,200,000 quarters. •
February 15.
The meeting of Mr Bradlaugh's friends was. attended by fully thirty thousand. It was fairly orderly, although ttiere were at times interruptions, which lasted some minutest -Delegates from various towns in England were appointed to further Mr Bradlaugh's interest.

In the course of his evidence he stated that he believed that the murderer fund was formed from money collected by the Land League, and appropriatedffor the purpose. He also statrd that all the prisoners except two, wer^.membera df the Assassins' Committee, and gave evidence fully confirming the existence of an inner circle of assassins. Carey- admitted that he suggested the use of knives for committing the Phoanix Park murder, and that he gave signals to the seven prisoners engaged in the murder, and announced the approach of their victim. He averred that the chief actor in the murder was the prisoner Brady. He affirms, however, that the operations of the Assassins' Committee were directed by a mysterrous personage with whose name he was unacquainted,and who was known' as Number One. The revelation has greatly increased the sensation which is felt throughout the country. New York, February 17.
Seventy persons have been buried in a colliery in Illinois State owing to the falling in of a portion of-the roof of the workings. It has not yet been ascer» tamed whether any of the miners have been'killed.' Great efforts are being made to release the ma prisoned men.
