Yesterday. The annual meeting of the Southern Cross Petroleum Company was held last night. The report and balance-sheet were taken as read. All the Gisborne directors resigned en masse, and a new Board, comprising Messrs W. H. Spact.man, J. J. Jameson, F. Williams, W. D. Mears, G. Hart, E. Wickes, and T. B. Craig, of Christchurch, were elected. The new Board will henceforth sit in Christchurch. At the first meeting, Messrs Wickes and Craig will retire in favor of Dr Rouse and Mr J. Rhodes. The meeting at Gisborne wos very unanimous, and satisfaction was expressed with - the, present prospects. Mr Motley represented Napier, and Messrs Craig Spackman, and Wickes the Christchurch shareholders.
