On Thanksgiving day, during a performance in Cincinnati, Frank Frayne's rifle broke at the instant of firing, and, the muzzle dropping, the bullet entered Annie >Yon Behrens' forehead, fhe heroine ( dying :on the stage. Frayne has conducted similar exhibitions throughout the United States for several years, and had met with only-one previous accident, and ' that of\a slight character.
