Govenment Bonuses.

The following bonuses will be paid on articles produced in the colony: Silk, bonus of 50 per cent, on the value realised; for the first £100 worth of cocoons of silkworms or silkworms' eggs produced in the colony, to be paid on quantities of not less value than fifty pounds (£100), produced by any one person; manganesian and rnanganesian bronze, a , bonus of £500 will be given for tbe first *£25G0 worth of manganesian ; and a similar bonus for a like amount of manganesian bronze produced in the colony from New Zealand ores, and sold at a fair

price in a foreign market; marble, a bonus of £300 will be given for the first £1500 worth of New Zealand marble exported from, the colony, and sold in a foreign

market, at a fair price of not less than 9s per cubic foot; antimony, a bonus of £500 will be given for the first 250 tons of antimony regulus produced in the colony from New Zealand ores, and sold at a fair market price in a foreign market; wrought iron, bonus of £1000 will be given for the production in New Zealand, by direct process, of 200 tons of " iron blooms " of marketable quality from ore, produced in New Zealand. Notice of intention to claim bonuses must be given to the Colonial Secretary not later than the 31,8t December, 1883.
