Eeuteb's Telegrams. London, February 6. It has transpired that Earl SpeDcer was guarded by detectives on his journey from Dublin, and remains under the same protection while in London. The Gazette to-day announces the appointment of Mr Hensman as Attorney* General of Western Australia. [Specials to the Pbess Association.] London, February 6. . The Generals have warned M. Grevy that the army is opposed to the Government policy. It is mentioned that the Khedive has decorated Sir Auckland Colvin. Telegrams from Zulaland say that a coalition between Cetewayo and John Dunn will probably take place. The Due Do Chambord is suffering from a severe attack of quinsy. The Court of Enquiry into the circumstances connected with the wreck of the immigrant ship Wild Deer, near Belfast, last month, has found the master to blame, and his sertificate has been suspended. • Tbe movers and seconders of the Address to the Queen on the opening of the Imperial Parliament, on the 15th instant, are the : In the House of Lords, Earl Dunravan and Baron Reay ; in the House of Commons, Sir T. D. Acland and Mr j Beuchanan. Tbe prospectus has been issued of tbe Anglo-Australian Steam Navigation Company, with a capital of £600,000. The company state they will employ eight or ten large steamers, with extensive capacity for cargo, and they are to do the passage in from 42 to 46 days. I The Nihilists ha*e warned the Czar that they<fwill renew their intimidation policy unless their demands are agreed to and granted before coronation day. The inhabitants of Madagascar are becoming alarmed as they fear that the French will bombard Tamatave, a port on the eastern coast. Many are anxious for the English protectorate. Mr Gladstone has recovered from his recent illness. General Thebaudin, the new French Minister of War, asserts that the Dynas tic Princes removed from the army will retain their rank on the unattached list.
