THE NEW REGULATIONS.
(To the Editor of the Evening Star.)
Sib,—What does the Editor of the Thames Advertiser mean; by that bosbj leader of yesterday,"-to the effect T that the Regulations will be-only so in name. . In. the past his writings; when refar/ing to the Defence Minister, were ar abusive as^ they co«ld be; now he. says that John Bryce won't be in office for ever, and advises us to re-join ear'various companies, and give Mr B. a trial. To-day we are informed that' the daylight drills will be held by moonlight alone. I believe the Editor of the Thames «dvertis«r will say anything to auif a tW'of fhis friends. Why, one would fancy tWhptkpet was in theiiands of one of oar Orange volunteer corps 'from the number of articles we have from time to time concerning it, of course by a .staff officer, who is himself very much interested m that corps, —lam.&c, No. 45.
