TIMARU.
Yesterday,
The skeleton of a man about 5 feet 6 inches in height was found on the sea beach yesterday, It is supposed to be the remains of one of the three men who lost their lives at the time of the wrecks on May 14th last, and whose bodies were never recovered.
A man. named Innes was arrested at Leveil's station this afternoon for wilfully setting fire to a stack of grain on Mr Levell'e estate, valued at £150. On being arrested the man confessed to the charge, and said he had set fire to the stack because he had heard smoke was good for liver complaint. He bad previously threatened to burn down other places.
