It is announced that the loan of £1,000,000, at 4 per cent., for the Government of New Zealand, will be placed on the market on the. 11th instant. The minimum is fixed at 98|. The. man Delaney, who was arrested on the 12th November last, for the attempted assassination of Judge Lawson, in Dublin, has been found guilty of conspiracy to murder, and has been sentenced to penal servitude for ten years. Pabis, January 3. The date upon which the funeral o£ M. Gambetta's remains will take place has been changed. It is now announced that the funeral rites will be performed at Paris on the 6th instant, and that the interment will take place subsequently at Nice.:- . • London, January 3. The Homeward mails, via Suez and Brindisi, which left Melbourne on November 23rd, were delivered yesterday.
