TENDERS FOR CARTING, NO. 1. nnENDERS are required for carting about JL One Thousand Tons of Wheat, from Matamata to Stanley, on the' Thames River, at per ton of ten sacks. 1. Contractors must provide Drivers, Horses, Gearing, and Drays. 2. Clover hay will be supplied at Auckland rates, less freight. 3. A clover paddock will be provided for contractors horses. 4. Carting must commence on or about January 22nd, 1883, and mußtbefinished not later than February 22nd, 1883. 5. Distance for grain to be carted, 10 miles. 6. Roads level, and formed. 7. No tender for less than Fifty (50) Tons will be accepted. 8. Tenders must be sent in not later than Jan. lOtb, 1883. 9. The lowest- or any tender not necessarily accepted. 10.
