Post-offices will be opened on Ist January prox. at Waiorongomai and Shaftesbury, in this district. Mails will -close at tho cl>iaf office on Saturdays at 5 p.m., and return mails arrive on Tuesday, at 6 p.m. Note.—The 25bh instant, Christmas Day, and ls>t January prox., bi-ing Postal holidays, this Office will ha closed. The following arrangements will be made for delivery of letters and despatch of mails :• —Town letters will be delivered over the counter from 8 till 7 p.m. on 23rd and 30th inst. Mails usually despatched on Monday will ,be closed on preceding Saturday evening at 6 o'clock. Sunday hours will be ohserved in Private Box Lobby.
