The cricket match at the Gardens on Saturday resulted in an easy victory for the Civil Servants by an innings and 26 rune. Aitken was top score with 30 rune, and Slight second with 12—the total for the innings being 98. Coney, Esrgingfcon, aid Newton bowled well for the Civil Servants, and disposed of the Bankers and Brokers for 24 and 48 runs for the two'innings respecively. A return match will be played shortly.
