The steamer Napier struck Barrett's reef on leaving the harbor iast night, and arrived at Picton this morning with her forefoot injured and leaking. The Marine Department has received the folio iving telegram from tho Customs officer at Eoxon: —The master of the cutter Hero, arrived from Akaroa, reports seeing some wreckage on the sth inst. He ran alongside, and found it to be a vessel's foremast, painted yellow, and floating upright. He thinks it is that of the brigantine Esther, Capt. Campbell. Cove south by west, distant about seven miles. ,
