is hereby given that an Extrai_ 1 ordinary General Meeting of the Thames Deep Level Tribute Company (Limited) will be held at the Registered Office of the Company, New Zealand Insurance Company's Buildings, Queen street, Auckland, on FRIDAY, the 29th day of December, 1882, at Two o'clock p.w., for tbe purpose of confirming the following Retolutions passed at an Extraordinary General Meeting o^ the Thames Deep Level Tribute Company (Limited), on the 24th day of November, 1882:— 1. That it is expedient to effect an amalgamation of this Company with the Southern Cross Goldmining Company (Limited), and that with a view thereto this Company be wound up voluntarily, and that Jams* Stodart be, and he is hereby appointed, Liquidator for the purpose of such winding up. 2. That the said Liquidator be, and he is hereby authorised to consent to the registration of a new Company, to be name! the Deep Level Cross Goldmining Company (Limited), with a memorandum and Articles of Association which huve been already prepared with the privity nnd approval of the Direct >rs of this Company. 3. That the Conditional Agreement submi'ted to this meeting be, and the same is hereby approved, and that the Liquidator, be, »nd he ia hereby authoriscdito adopt the said agreement, and to carry the same into effect. NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS NOTICE is hereby given that an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Southern Cross Ooldmining (.Company (Limited) will be held at the Registered Office of the Company, New Zealand Insurance Company's Buildings, Queen street, Auckland, on FRIDAY, the 2t>th day of December, 1882, at Three o'clock, p.m., for the purpose of confirming the following Resolutions passed at an Extraordinary General Met-ting of the Southern Cross Gold mining Company (Limited) on the 24t.h day of November, 1882 :— 1.
