Cricket.
A cricket match will be played on the WaiVKaraka Flat to morrow afternoon between an Eleven and Twenty-two of the Thames Cricket Club, play to commence at 2 p.m. The following are the names of the teams:—Twenty-two: Clark (captnin), Colhoun, Coney, Slight, Lowe, Farqubar, Grubb, Fletcher, Gillies, Newton, Hill, Andrews, Radford, Jobe, Maddern, Bennett, Tregonning, Airey, Coad, Noonan, Taylor, and Delahunty.— Eleven : Smith, Hunter, Pearce; Eggin* ton, Mills, Griffiths, Potts, Muir, Fenton, Brassey, and Aitken.

The weather was splendid for the match between the Danedin Association and Auckland. The former won the toss and went in, but made a very poor show ; the innings which lasted exactly at an hour closing for 57. Harris was top scorer with 19, Ivesa, not out, made 10.
