This day.
Mr Seddon, M.H.E., addressed a large meeting of electors at Dilmanstown last evening, reviewing the actions of the late session of Parliament. A vote of thanks and confidence was unanimously carried. After his address Mr W. Morris, on behalf of tlie miners of Rumtira
and Staffordtown took the opportunity of presenting him with a gold watch as a mark of esteem and appreciation of his services on their behalf Jn the New Zealand Parliament.
