Sydney, November 20. A Dissolution.

It has transpired that His Excellency the Governor has granted Sir Henry Parkes, an unconditional dissolution of Parliament.

Melbourne, November 20. Sank Rates.

The associated banks have fixed the rale of discount as follows :—For bills at 3 months, 7 per cent.; at 4 months, 8 per cent; above 4 months, 9 per cent.; interest on deposits for 12 months, of per cent. Cricket—England v. Victoria.

The weather to-day was comewhat unfavorable for cricket owing to the frequent showers of rain, and the match between the Victorian 11 the Hon. Ivo Bligh's team was not resumed till this aftsrnoon. The attendance of spectators during* the day was small.
