This day.
At a meeting of the Executive Council this morning the case of Antonio Goschnell, recently found guilty and sentenced to death for the murder near Norman by (Taranaki) was considered, and it was decided to commute the sentence to penal servitude for life.
The Aurora was very brilliant last night. .
