This day. Snyder has done a good gallop, and is expected to overturn Fishgirl's certainty for the Welcome Stakes. It is reported that the bookmakers have purchased Angler, and that he will not start for the Spring Handicap. On Saturday afternoon some lads threw a bundle of crackers in front of a horse and trap. The noise startled the horse, and the driver, Thomas Partington, was thrown on the hard road, the wheels passing over his hips and thighs. The horse then bolted, and came into collision with a coal cart. Partington was conveyed to the Hospital. His injuries are are noli serious^
