NEW PEINCE IMPEEIAL.
The following telegram, despatched by the manager at 12 o'clock to-day, speaks for itself :—" Five hundredweight of specimens leading slope No. 2 section west, good gold still showing; breaking siill going on. The leading stope referred to is close alongside the break, and the second , stope is where 3 cwt of specimens were ' obtained last Saturday. The show left in the leading stope, No. 2 section west, after breaking out the scwt of specimens this morning, was very pood. The stone came from the western end of the slope, which was being beaten back to the bre-ik at the time of my- visit this afternoon. The reef looks well for go!d.
