Baker Pasha's Scheme Disapproved.
The Times to-day states that it has received information that the English Government disapprove of Baker Pasha's scheme for the reorganisation of the Egyptian army. An Egyptian Te "Whiti. Id the House of Commons to«day Mr Gladstone, in reply to a question, stated that it was a fact that the Egyptian Government had applied for the assistance of certain British officers in the conduct of an expedition against a false prophet in the Soudan.
