The Railway Company.

A numerously attended meeting of the provisional directors of the Thames Valley Railway Company, and of persons ioterested in the carrying out of the project, was held last evening at the Borough Council Chambers. Mr L. Ehren fried presided. The Chairman announced that the whole of the preferential shares had been taken np. The draft of the prospectus of the company was then read over by the chairman, and considered clause by clause and agreed to. The memorandum of association was read over, approved, and signed The follow-, ing gentleman were appointed a committee to revise the articles of association ('wo to fjrm a quorum): —Messrs Fraser, Speight, Murdoch, Brodie, Brown, and Ehrenfried. . It was also resolved that meetings of the provisional directors be held every Tuesday and Thursday evenings, at 7.30, nt tli<* Council Chambers.
