Shaw for permission to construct a Water Bace for mining purposes, commencing at a point two and a half miles above junction of Ohinemuriand Waitawheta Rivers, and terminating at a point about one mile above junction, as shown on plan. The length of such* Race is about a mile and a half, and its intended course is westerly. The mean breadth and depth of such Race is three feet by two feet j it is capable of carrying ten sluice-heads of water, and the number I of sluice-beads, of forty inohes each, which it is proposed to appropriate, is ten. NOTICE is therefore given that on the fourth day of November, 1882, a license will be granted to the above-named Thomas E.
