Cricket.
Cricket is in favor at the Thames this season, and already there are five clubs beside the old /Thames Club in active practise, while another, it is said, will be formed shortly. Two or three challenge matches have taken place, and more are on the tapis. One was played this afternoon on the Waio-Karaka Flat between a team picked from the Civil servants and an All comers' eleven. The match was expected to be closely contested, though the AH-comers are considered to have the strongest team.
