Mb Jas. Bruce's new flour mills were formally opened at Timaru lately. All the machinery has been imported direct from the United States. It consists of six stones—76 feet high from the, bed to the roof. Its dimensions are 118 feet by 74 feet, arid it is estimated to turn out 400 sacks of flour per day, besides oatmeal, barley, &c. It is believed to be the largest and most complete mill in the colony.
