At the Resident Magistrate's Court, Hamilton, J. A. Douglas, the proprietor of Brunwood Station, was fined £23, including costs, for assaulting James Camp, the proprietor of the Tamauere Hotel, and bound over to keep the peace for six months in sureties of £200.
Lyttle has been re-arrested on a charge of bigamy. : . Mr C. H. Street, Mr Dell, and Mr Goldie bare each presented valuable works to the. City Council.
