ANOTHER MASSACRE.

" - Auckland, This day. Edgar Gillite, who was entrusted with the conveyance of £261 from Rewa to Luvuka, has disappeared. It is supposed be levanted to New Zealand.
On the last trip of the Taiaroa from Suva to Levuka, W. Peterson fell overboard and was drowned.
Captain Waite, of the barquentineßf d coat, well known in New Zealand, has died at Suva. -- ■ •
Town Lots at Suva have been sold for £15 per foot.
The Good enough memorial clock tower at Levuka is completed.
The captain of the Windward Ho, which arrived at Suva on the 15th September, reports that ?the captain; owner, and four of the crew of the French cutter Porto .riella had been murdered at the inland of Santo and the vessel pillaged. A French warship subsequently visited Santo, but (he natives-retreated to the bush. The cutter was manned by the cruizer and taken to New Caledonia.
