Football Match.

The return football match between New .South Wales and '■.■& /Wellington" team was played this afternoon. The Sydney team only arrived about one 6'clock from Christchuroh. The weather was;; unfavorable- for .football, the strong north-west wind blowing preventing any of the men making good kicks. : The New South Wales men had the best of the game-throughout, and won by one goal (kicked from field) and' two tries, eight points to nil. The team left to-night for Napier and Auckland. Owing to their delay here they^are unable, to play against Napier., .. , t ,..'.,
