(Pee Pbess Association.) ; Wellington, Yesterday. Prorogation of Parliament. The House met at 3/pi.m.' The Speaker announced that he had waited upon the Governor with two Appropriation Acts, which had been^assented to. At 3.30 the House was summoned to attend the Council for prorogation. The Council met at 3 p.m., and after, the usual formal business, Mr Hart said he had a few hints to lay before the Council for the consideration of Government during the recess :-— Ist. That the Property Tax should extend to all property above and beyond £50 in value ; that bills; of sale should texpress' on their face the money advanced and of goods furnished at or immediately before, the Execution ; or, in the event of bankruptcy ,or arrangement with , creditors generally and to be give, within three months of filing; a bill of sale should be good as against other creditors only for the sum so expressed the holder of a bill of sale being at liberty to prove for the. sum which would otherwise be secured by the bi11 .,, 0f., sale ;,. that all Crown grantees of land should have right of •of possession by ejectment, if necessary, if land granted; if before issue of the grant, the Crown could recover by writ of intrusion. J . At 3.30 the Commissioners, Sir W. Fitzherbert, Hon. F. Whitaker, and Sir G. 8. Whitmorft, took their seats, and, the Commission being read, they adjourned Parliament until Thursday, December Htb.
