Australians v. Notts.

The cricket match at Nottingham between the Australians and County Eleven was resumed to-day in the presence of a large number of spectators. The Australians continued their second in~ ings, which closed for a total of 212. The following were the highest scorers: — Murdoch, c, 36; McDonnell, c, 63; Bonnor, 3, 20. The Hpraetearo, requiring 233 runs to win, went in for their second innings, but only succeeded in putting together 48. The Australians thus won the match by"lß4 runs. The bowling of the Australians was dead on the wicket, and their fielding was excellent. Owing to the rain which fell yesterday and duriDg the night, the wicket was not in good order. „
