DUNEDIN.
Yesterday. An important sale of runs took place today by the Government auctioneer. The total amount of rental realised, as the result of the sale, was £9000, or on an average of 8d per acre, which is about three times the amount they are at present bringing in. The runs were educational reserves, and the sale was on behalf of the School Commissioner of Otago and High School Board of Governors.
