The Australians commenced the return match against eleven of Gloucestershire at Clifton to-day. The weather, which had prevented play yesterday, was showery, and the wioket was heavy. Murdoch and Palmer were both absent, being too unwell to play. The visitors went in first to the wickets, and remained in until time was called, when the score stood 168, with four wickets to fall.
