[Bbuteb's Special.] London, August 23. Sir A. Gordon's view of Te "ttftiti Rights. A Parliamentary bluebook upon the natives of New Zealand has been published. Among the documents contained in it is a communication from Sir Arthur Gordon, referring to the policy adopted by the Government in connection with the confiscated land at Taranaki. Sir Arthur Gordon states that he considers that Te Whiti and other natives are entitled to land even where it may be situated within the boundary of confiscated territory. Several companies are being formed in London with the view to further the development of the importation of New Zealand meat to England. Chinese Emigration to Cyprus. A conference of China merchants, in London, has urged the promotion of emigration to Cyprus.
